Pedestrian Hit and Killed
A young man was walking along a rural highway in North Carolina when a vehicle operated by a
young driver ran over the pedestrian at a high rate of speed causing his death. The family of the
pedestrian hired our firm to investigate the accident and determine whether a claim could be
made against the driver. A great deal of investigation and legal research was expended
attempting to determine whether multiple insurance policies by family members could apply to
this accident. Claims were made against three separate insurance companies on behalf of the
young man's family and this matter was resolved prior to the filing of suit for policy limits of
each applicable policy.
