Elderly Lady Dies Following Fall
We represented the family of an elderly lady who was a substantial fall risk with numerous prior
falls. Despite this risk, the nursing home facility failed to properly monitor, supervise, or protect
her. She had a severe fall causing a fracture to her neck. She died six months later from injuries
resulting from the fall. This matter was settled during mediation approximately four months
before trial. Confidential settlement.
